WEDNESDAY
Mahoning will meet at noon for a sack lunch at the Kidston Classroom of the Davis Education and Visitor Center. The program is Grandma’s Garden Apron, and the presenter is Claudia DeRienzo. Hostesses are Frances Kupec and Joanne Lewis.
Men’s Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. at Fellows Riverside Gardens. Master gardener Judith Rodkey will talk about her 10 best gardening tips. Soil analysis samples will be collected and sent to Penn State for a $20 fee. Guests are welcome.

Sweetbrier will discuss the English garden.
UPCOMING
Garden Club of Ohio, Youngstown District, will have its spring meeting April 17 at Picadilly Parlour, 114 S. Broad St., Canfield. Registration takes place at 9:30 a.m., and the meeting begins at 10. At 10:30, Master Gardener Bill Snyder will discuss “What Kind of Soil is This?” There will be a break at 11:30 a.m., and lunch will begin at noon. Barbara Shuh and Aggis Goss will present “It’s Not My Type!” at 1 p.m., followed by a break. At 2:30 the new district director will be installed, and the meeting adjourns at 3.
