Downtown Youngstown call center sets job fair to hire 260 workers

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio

VXI Global Solutions, LLC will fill 260 sales and customer care positions starting April 6th, the company announced. A job fair will be take place this Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with immediate interviews and on-the-spot hiring, company officials say.

“The positions will meet the needs of customers for a leading satellite TV provider

as well as a leading money transfer provider,” said Pamela Hall, Sr. Human Resources manager for

the company’s downtown Youngstown location inside 20 Federal Place on West Federal Street.

“We will hire 260 by the end of April

but the hiring will continue beyond that,” she said.

Applicants should have at least six months of call-center, customer-service and/or

sales experience, intermediate computer skills and the ability to work flexible
