Valentina Zappia, Ryan Schrock set May nuptials

YOUNGSTOWN

Valentina Zappia and Ryan Schrock, both of Durham, N.C., are engaged and planning a May 23 wedding.

Her parents, Joseph and Debbie Zappia of Youngstown, are announcing the engagement. The prospective groom is the son of Richard and Mary Schrock of Horseheads, N.Y.

The couple will exchange vows at an open 1:30 p.m. ceremony at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Invitations will be issued for a reception at The Lake Club in Poland.

The couple are both graduates of Ohio State University.

The bride-elect earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and works as a project coordinator at Centerline Digital in Raleigh, N.C.

Mr. Schrock received a bachelor’s degree in strategic communication. He is a brewery representative at The Boston Beer Company in Durham.
