YOUNGSTOWN

The Total Praise Choir of Alpha & Omega First Baptist Church, 3120 Winton Ave., will host the annual musical on the theme “Awesome Praise” at 4 p.m. Sunday.

The celebration will feature choirs, soloist and musicians from Youngstown and the surrounding area.

Gospel choir

YOUNGSTOWN

The Gospel choir of Antioch Baptist Church, 110 Funston St., will present “Seven Steps to the Cross” at 4 p.m. Sunday.

Participants will be ministers Sandra Miles, Allan Izirrary-Graves, Michael Williams, Felecia Williams, DeMaine Kitchen, Cleveland Burton and Roslyn Tarver. Host pastor is the Rev. Ernest Ellis.

Appreciation brunch

God’s Godly Girls of Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church in Youngstown will sponsor the first Appreciation Brunch at 11 a.m. April 11 at Mahoning Country Club, 710 E. Liberty St. Gloria Jean Armour, Beatrice Radney Dixon and minister Sharon Toney will be honored.

Community service

WARREN

Trumbull County Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance will host its annual Good Friday community worship service at 7 p.m. at Second Baptist Church, 1510 Main Ave. SW.

Keynote speaker will be the Rev. John McCants Jr., senior pastor of Grace African Methodist Episcopal Church. Special music will be provided by the TCIMA Mass Choir under the leadership of Van Nelson.

The theme is “Gathering at the Cross,” stressing unity and cooperation of Christians of all denominations, reformations and races. The TCIMA is inviting all clergy, congregants and community members in the Mahoning Valley to join in this worship experience.

For decades, the TCIMA has led clergy and community in uniting area churches, addressing the issues facing the Mahoning Valley and mobilizing residents to work toward improving the lives of all citizens in areas such as education, justice, charity and economics through the administration of the Alliance Community Outreach Project, 2051 Niles Road.

BibleWalk exhibit

MANSFIELD

BibleWalk has opened a new exhibit, “The Walk of the Parables,” which features 39 oil paintings by Mark Pedro, a religious artist. The museum features some 300 life-size wax figures in 70 scenes of the Bible and in Christianity. The museum, located at 500 Tingley Ave., also features a Christian dinner theater.
