UPDATE | No bomb found at Vallourec Star

YOUNGSTOWN — The police department bomb squad has been cleared from Vallourec Star on U.S. Route 422 without finding any evidence of an explosive device.

Police were called to the plant for a bomb threat just after 2 p.m. and shortly thereafter the bomb squad was called.

They left about 3:30 p.m., a police spokesman said, and no bomb was found after a search of the plant.
