Threat checked out at Vallourec Star

YOUNGSTOWN

City police are investigating a bomb threat at Vallourec Star on U.S. Route 422.

A spokesman said the department was notified of the threat about 1:30 p.m.

The bomb squad has been activated and are on the scene, the spokesman said. He said officers are checking the plant for a threat.
