The Cleveland Barons claim title championship

The Cleveland Barons U14 team claimed the title of champion during the weekend of March 7 in Blaine, MN over the Oakland Grizzlies in the final showdown for the division.

The Grizzlies came out fast and scored first in the final, but that did not deter the Barons from digging in and getting the job done. The Barons opened up in the second period, scoring three unanswered goals and giving themselves a two goal margin to start the third.

The Grizzlies struck first in the third, making a tight and exciting 3-2 score for all the spectators and scouts in the stands. Midway through the period, the Barons sealed their position with another tally and closed the game with an open netter, making a final score of 5-2 in the Barons favor.

The Tier 1 Elite League’s U14 Champions were the Cleveland Barons.
