CANFIELD

March 11

Fraud: A fraudulent tax return and identity theft were reported at a home on Bradford Drive. The investigation was turned over to the Internal Revenue Service.

Fraud: A report of a fraudulent tax return and identity theft was made at a home on Shadydale Drive. The investigation was turned over to the IRS.

March 18

Drug possession: Police arrested Terrance Phillips, 27, of Boston Avenue, Youngstown, on a drug-possession charge.

March 16

Assault: A supervisor punched an employee at T&W Stamping, 207 N. Four Mile Run Road.

Theft: Two unemployment checks were stolen from a home in the 100 block of Atlanta Ave.

Identity theft: An additional card holder was added to an account at a home in the 1000 block of Cavalcade Drive without authorization.

Counterfeit: A counterfeit $20 bill was passed at Shell True North, 1704 S. Raccoon Road.

Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted text messages were received from an ex-boyfriend at a home in the 200 block of Westminster Avenue.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at a home in the 2000 block of Birchtrace Drive.

Identity theft: An IRS tax return was filed fraudulently at a home in the 80 block of Placid Boulevard.

Theft: Liquor was stolen from BP Fast Trac, 890 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

March 17

Breaking and entering: Lucianno’s, 1739 S. Raccoon Road, was robbed of $315 after the business was unlocked. An employee may have taken the money, police said.

Identity theft: A federal tax return was already filed at a home in the 3000 block of Dunbar Avenue.

Theft: Police arrested Robert Sudimak, 47, of North Osborn Avenue, Youngstown, on a theft charge. He is accused of taking $54.76 in merchandise from Marc’s, 4755 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A front license plate was stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 400 block of Forest Hill Drive.

March 18

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Terrance Phillips, 27, of Boston Avenue, Youngstown, on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Identity theft: An IRS return was filed by another person at a home in the 300 block of South Edgehill Avenue.

Burglary: All appliances were reported missing at a rental home in the 40 block of North Edgehill Avenue.

March 19

Menacing: Police arrested Garrett Crucian, 31, of Matta Avenue, Youngstown, on a charge of menacing by stalking.

Fraud: A person at a home in the 6000 block of Fairview Road had $1,740 taken from a Seven Seventeen credit union account.

Identity theft: A woman resident in the 5000 block of Cider Mill Crossing had her information used for a phone bill of $600.

Assault: Two students were assaulted inside a trailer at Austintown Fitch High School.

Theft: Police arrested Michael Phillips, 57, of Mistletoe Avenue, Youngstown, on charges of theft and criminal trespassing. He is accused of taking a television valued at $298 from Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Attempted abduction: A male in a minivan attempted to lure a female into a vehicle at Wendy’s, 27 S. Raccoon Road.

Recovered property: A wallet was recovered at a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

March 20

Auto theft: A vehicle was stolen from a home in the 300 block of Rosemont Avenue and later recovered. There is a suspect in the theft.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at a home in the 500 block of Wyndclift Circle.

Theft: Police arrested Erick Gibbs, 31, of Garfield Street, Youngstown, and Jorrell Gibbs, 33 of Forest Hill Drive, on charges of criminal damaging at Walmart. They are accused of taking earpiece headphones and attempting to flush the packaging down the toilet. The total value of the merchandise was $62.76.

Theft: Cash was taken from employees at Refresh Dental, 5600 Mahoning Ave.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Natalee Good, 22, of Elm Trace, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse.

Disorderly conduct: Police arrested Andrew Pavlica, 33, of North Duck Creek Road, North Jackson, on a charge of disorderly conduct at AT&T, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Abner Pizarro, 25, of Star Street, Youngstown, on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle’s window was damaged at a home in the 20 block of North Wickliffe Circle.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Robb Bowser, 18, of Youngstown, on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Arrest: Police arrested Jason Morrison, 36, of Selkirk Bush Road, Warren, on a charge of obstructing official business.

Warrant: Police arrested John Petrollo, 27, of Kirk Road, Canfield, on a warrant for telecommunications harassment.

Theft: Condoms were stolen from Rite Aid, 5498 Mahoning Ave.

Aggravated burglary: A burglary was reported at a home in the 50 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at Wedgwood Lanes, 1741 S. Raccoon Road.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Dontai Young, 38, of Merriweather Street Northwest, Warren, on a charge of drug abuse of marijuana.

Warrant: Police arrested Zachary Soles, 23, of Nassau Court, on a warrant for falsification.

Arrest: Police arrested Anthony Dimugio, 53, of DeHoff Drive, on a charge of domestic violence.

Identity theft: Several accounts were compromised at a home in the 3000 block of Heritage Court.

Animal complaint: Police issued a summons to Stephanie Gearhart, 31, of North Beverly Avenue, for violating the township’s leash law.
