FISH FRY

The Beaver Ruritans are hosting an all-you-can-eat fish fry on Saturday in the cafeteria at South Range Schools, 11300 Columbiana-Canfield Road. Carry-out will be available from 2:30 to 7 p.m., and family-style servings will be available from 3 to 7.

The menu includes all-you-can-eat fish with french fries, green beans, coleslaw, rolls, drink and dessert. Cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children 11 and younger.

CREAMED-CHICKEN DINNER

Caring Hands Food Ministry will offer a creamed-chicken and biscuit dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Negley Fire Department hall, 50683 Richardson Ave.

The meal also will include mashed potatoes, green beans, dessert and a beverage. Carry-out is available. Cost is $9 for adults and $4 for children 6 and younger.

A basket auction will be offered. All proceeds will support the ministry. For information, contact Trudy Mackall at 330-426-3270.

COFFEE CHAT

The Warren branch of the NAACP will host a Coffee Chat featuring Pan African educator Michael McGhee from noon to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the ACOP Center, 2051 Niles Road.

The topic of the event will be “Black Liberation in the 21st Century.” Light refreshments will be served.

AUSTINTOWN EVENT

The Parent Teacher Association at Austintown Intermediate School is sponsoring “There are Stars Among Us,” which features the talents of the school’s fifth-graders, at 6 p.m. today in the Fitch Performing Arts Auditorium. Admission is $1.

Toastmasters Club
