YMTA schedules its April recital

YOUNGSTOWN

Youngstown Music Teachers Association, celebrating its 81st season, will host its April Honors Recital at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at The Butler North, 524 Wick Ave.

Students performing will be Sylvia Traw, Sophie Hu, Grace Hu, Cooper Figley, Sasha Petrochko, Summer Fassnacht, Michael Fassnacht, Julie Humphries, Mara Humphries, Sammy McDonald, Patrick Coleman, Kate Li, Lexa Miller, Thomas Jong, Bryson Stemock, Jessica Jenkins, Brandon Sharp and YMTA scholarship award winner Lauren Eisenreich.

Teachers represented will be Fanny DiDomenico, Susan Owens, Diane Yazvac, Alison Morris, Rick Barber, Sean Baran, Dolores Hansley, Dan Barber, Cynthia Evans, Melva Huebert, Diane Debiec and Audrey Rhinehart. Alison Morris is the host. Melva Huebert is the president.

Toastmasters Club schedules workshop

Toastmasters Club is having a workshop from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic St. NE. The public is invited.
