COLUMBIANA COUNTY

East Palestine: Breakfast with the Easter Bunny from 9 to 11 a.m. and egg hunt at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, East Palestine Park. An all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast will be offered by the East Palestine Rotary Club at the park’s community center at a cost of $5 for adults, $2.50 for children and free for children under 5. A basket auction will be offered. The Rotary Club will offer matted pictures with the Easter Bunny from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. for $8. An egg hunt, divided into four age groups will follow with eggs, candy, gift certificates and small toys for the kids to find.

MAHONING COUNTY

Austintown: Egg hunt, 1 p.m. Saturday, Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2305 S. Canfield-Niles Road. The event takes place rain or shine for all children from age 1 through grade 4.

Austintown: Fun with the Easter Bunny, 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Quaker Steak & Lube, 5800 Interstate Blvd. Event includes face painting, crafts, goodie bags, egg coloring and an indoor bounce house.

Austintown: Easter Eggstravaganza, refreshments at 10 a.m., egg hunt at 11, Saturday at Clare Bridge Austintown, 1420 S. Canfield-Niles Road. Children and grandchildren of Clare Bridge residents are invited to the hunt and party. Information about living at the facility will be available during the event.

Austintown: Lunch with the Easter Bunny, Austintown Dairy Queen, 146 N. Canfield-Niles Road, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.

Boardman: Easter Bunny visit at Skeddaddles Indoor Playground, 8061 Market St., 11 a.m. to noon for age 3 and under, and 2 to 3 p.m. for age 4 and older, April 3. Cost is regular admission with open-play pricing. A photo with the Easter Bunny will cost $5.

Boardman: Evening with the Easter Bunny, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday or Wednesday, Boardman Park, 375 Boardman-Poland Road. Evening includes dinner, arts and crafts and a family photo with the Easter Bunny. Tickets are on sale at the park office, Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or online at www.boardmanpark.com. Tickets are $7 for Boardman residents and $9 for nonresidents. Children age 2 and under enter for free.

Boardman: Free indoor egg hunt Friday at Bridge of Hope Church, 7580 Glenwood Ave. Doors open at 6:15 p.m., prizes at 7 and egg hunt to follow. The hunt will be divided into age-appropriate areas. Boardman: Photos with the Easter Bunny at Southern Park Mall, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday now through April 4 in the mall at 7401 Market St.

Boardman: Caring Bunny Inclusive Easter Celebration, 9:30 to 11 a.m. Sunday, center concourse, Southern Park Mall. The Autism Society of Ohio offers an Easter Bunny photo experience for children with special needs by reducing sensory triggers for a more-comforting environment.

Boardman: Egg hunt, 11 a.m. Saturday, Calvary Baptist Church, 1463 Shields Road. The Learning Center in Calvary Baptist Church is hosting the event for children of all ages.

Boardman: Egg hunt for children of all ages, 10 a.m. Saturday, Greenbriar Health Care, 8064 South Ave.

Boardman: Christian Assembly Church Easter egg hunt, 5050 South Ave., registration at 11:30 a.m.; egg hunt at noon April 4. For children age 1 to 12. Participants are asked to bring baskets. After registration, enter the sanctuary for a short Easter cartoon before the egg hunt. Light refreshments will be provided.

Canfield: Breakfast and photos with the Easter Bunny/Bunny Day at the Mill Creek MetroParks Farm, 7574 Columbiana-Canfield Road, 9 to 10:30 a.m. April 4. Mahoning County Junior Fair Rabbit Committee will host. Breakfast includes eggs, sausage, pancakes and drink. Additional opportunities to learn more about rabbits will follow breakfast. Children’s tickets include a craft and face painting. Adult price is $7.50; children 3 to 12, $5; and children 2 and under enter free. Registration is required by Wednesday; call 330-533-7572. After the breakfast and photos, Bunny Day at the Farm is set for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Mahoning County Junior Fair Rabbit Committee will display a variety of rabbit breeds, provide various children’s activities and story time and offer advice on owning the animals as pets. Bunny crafts and face painting will be available for a small fee.

Canfield: Breakfast and tea with the Easter Bunny. Breakfasts from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sunday and April 4; and tea from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, Piccadilly Parlour Victorian Tea Room, 114 S. Broad St. Breakfast is $14.95 per child and $15.95 for adults. Tea will be $16.95 per child and $17.95 per adult. Canfield: Egg hunt, 10 a.m. April 4, Lord of Life Church, 550 N. Broad St. Children through age 12 are welcome and asked to bring a basket in which to keep the eggs they found. Canfield: Annual Canfield Dairy Queen Easter Egg Hunt, 11:30 a.m. April 4, “on the green” Canfield Dairy Queen, 101 S. Broad St. Children through age 11 are invited to hunt eggs and candy. For questions, call 330-533-6647.

Poland: Egg hunt, 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Poland Town Hall gazebo and grounds, 308 S. Main St. Poland Junior Women’s Club and New Life Church offers an egg hunt for children through grade 4. Egg hunts will be divided into age groups: children up to age 3, 1:15 p.m. in the garden behind the town hall; children 4 to 6, 1:30 p.m. at the gazebo; and children 7-10, 1:45 p.m. on the north lawn. All children are invited to enjoy face painting, story time, balloon animals, character visits, community vehicles, photos with the Easter Bunny and cookies and cocoa. Poland: Egg hunt, 11 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Heritage Presbyterian Church, 1951 Mathews Road. The free event is planned outside, but in case of inclement weather, will be moved to the church fellowship hall. Candy, games, prizes and treats for children 11 and under will be offered. Little Learners Preschool will offer an open house from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. during the hunt. For information, call 330-707-9031.

Youngstown: Rockwood Village Free Easter Celebration, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. April 4, Rockwood Village Activity Center, 1420 Dogwood Lane. The Center for Community Empowerment, along with area businesses, churches, organizations and parents, is sponsoring the free celebration for children age 3 to 12. Youngstown: Egg hunt and pancake breakfast, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Wick Park. The Wick Park Neighborhood Association, with support from Councilman Nate Pinkard, D-3rd, and Councilwoman Annie Gillam, D-1st, will host the event. Crafts, face painting, games and a coloring contest for kids begin at 11 a.m., and the egg hunt begins at noon. Children will be grouped by age with staggered start times. All children should be accompanied by a responsible adult. First 200 children registered will receive a goodie bag. Take your own basket, and dress for weather and mud. The breakfast will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The suggested donation is $5 for adults and $2 for kids.

Youngstown: Egg hunt, 2:30 p.m. registration; 3 p.m. hunt Sunday near 53 Lucius Ave., between Market Street and Southern Boulevard. Hosted by the ICU Blockwatch Group and St. Dominic Church. Area will be sectioned off into four age groups for children 2 to 12, and children will hunt for specially marked eggs to win a bike, gift cards or Easter basket. MERCER COUNTY

Hermitage Pa.: Shenango Valley Easter Egg Hunt, noon Saturday, Shelter 4, Buhl Farm Park, 715 Hazen Road. Rain or shine. Children from 1 to 12 years old are invited to hunt for more than 8,000 eggs, chocolate and other fun items. Prizes are awarded for each age group. The event is sponsored by Daffin’s Candies. TRUMBULL COUNTY

Champion: Easter Bunny visit, 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Brain Freeze, 115 State Road. Each child 12 and under will receive a free cup of frozen yogurt or ice cream during the event.

Hubbard: Community Easter egg hunt, 1 to 2:30 p.m. April 4, First Presbyterian Church, 22 Westview Ave.

Niles: Caring Bunny Inclusive Easter Celebration, 9:30 to 11 a.m. Sunday, center concourse, Eastwood Mall, 5555 Youngstown-Warren Road. The Autism Society of Ohio offers an Easter Bunny photo experience for children with special needs by reducing sensory triggers for a more-comforting environment. Free activities include arts and crafts, face painting, an egg hunt and roll, petting zoo, tent walks in Lori’s Lovely Butterflies Exhibit, plant and garden activities and train rides. Girard: Egg hunt, 3 p.m. Saturday, Girard City Gym, 100 W. Main St. The city’s parks and recreation department sponsors the event for children age 3 through 8 who live in Girard.

Hubbard: Free egg hunt for children of all ages, 10 a.m. April 4, Coalburg United Methodist Church, 1906 Wick-Campbell Road. The event will include a craft and snack and will take place rain or shine. For information, call 330-856-1701.

Liberty: Egg hunt for all ages, 10 a.m. Saturday, township administration building, 1315 Church Hill-Hubbard Road. The Liberty Historical Society sponsors the event.

Vienna: Photos with the Easter Bunny, 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Have a Hart Pet Store inside the Trumbull County Animal Welfare League, 812 Youngstown-Kingsville Road. Bring children and pets to visit and have their photo taken. Suggested donation is $5 and will benefit the shelter animals at the Welfare League. Light refreshments will be available. Shop in the store, with proceeds also benefiting the AWL.

Vienna: Easter egg hunt and visit with the Easter bunny, 1 p.m. Saturday at the Vienna Fire Station, 833 Youngstown Kingsville Road. Sponsored by the Vienna Neighborhood Watch.

Warren: Easter Eggstravaganza, for all area children from toddlers to 10 years old, 1 p.m. Saturday, Grace United Methodist Church, 1725 Drexel Ave. NW.
