Austintown project in infant stages, officials say
AUSTINTOWN — The ball is the developers' court.
That's the message Austintown Township officials got across at a news conference this morning on the potential development for a $100-$125 million project along State Route 46.
The project entails hotels, restaurants, condos, a retail center and other features, but it is in its infant stages.
"No plans have been submitted," said Darren Crivelli, Austintown zoning inspector. "[We have] no knowledge of if and when plans would be submitted."
