Youngstown man and woman arraigned today on child-endangerment charges

YOUNGSTOWN — A man and woman facing child-endangering charges were arraigned today in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.

Tamara Juliois of Eliot Lane was arraigned on four counts of child endangering. She entered pleas of not guilty.

A grand jury indicted her on the charged last week, and she surrendered to police Saturday.

She was given a $50,000 bond and is allowed to post 10 percent. She was also ordered to have no contact with the two children.

The indictment says the abuse took place between November and January of this year. The children were 8 and 9 at the time.

At her arraignment, Julious said she missed a court appearance related to her present case because her children were taken away during the investigation and she was trying to get them back.

A man who was indicted with her, Albert Barnette, also of Eliot Lane, was also arraigned on the same charges. He was not in custody but came to the arraignment hearing today and turned himself in. His bond was set at $50,000, and he is also allowed to post 10 percent.
