Police: No other drugs in NFL player Ahmad Bradshaw's car

CINCINNATI (AP) — Ohio authorities say state crime lab tests found no other illegal drugs in the vehicle a veteran pro football player was driving when he was charged with a misdemeanor marijuana count.

Ohio State Highway Patrol Sgt. Vincent Shirey tells The Associated Press that a small amount of marijuana has been confirmed in the case involving running back Ahmad Bradshaw. Troopers had sent some other unidentified substances for testing.

Troopers said Bradshaw was stopped Feb. 5 for a traffic violation on Interstate 70 in western Ohio.

A pretrial conference is scheduled April 8 in Preble County. The misdemeanor charges carry a total $270 in fines. He has pleaded not guilty.

The 29-year-old Bradshaw is a former Colt and Giant who is a free agent.
