There will be lane restrictions through Friday as prep work continues on the U.S. Route 224 bridge over state Route 11.
The Ohio Department of Transportation announced lane restrictions will be made from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Route 224 over Route 11 and also under 224 on 11.
Last week, crews worked on the median of the 224 bridge as prep work continues for the $6.5 million project that includes the bride’s replacement and widening. There also will be a widening of Raccoon Road. The project is expected to be completed in October.
Road closed
LIBERTY
Naylor-Lloyd Road, between Tibbetts-Wick and Keefer roads, will be closed to through traffic due to poor road conditions, effective immediately, township officials said Monday.
Special meeting
LIBERTY
The Liberty Township trustees will have a special meeting at 1 p.m. today at the administration building, 1315 Church Hill-Hubbard Road.
Suspect charged
WARREN
Keiry J. Patterson, 21, of Rogers Street Southeast and Draper Street Southeast is in the Trumbull County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bond, charged with aggravated robbery, accused of robbing a restaurant delivery driver Sunday afternoon.
A not-guilty plea was entered for him Monday in Warren Municipal Court.
A delivery driver for the Rig Restaurant in Howland reported being robbed at gunpoint as he delivered food in the 2300 block of Rogers Avenue near Beck Street Southeast at 5:20 p.m. The driver said a man wearing all black came from behind an apartment and put a gun in his face and ordered him to turn over the money and food.
Police received information the suspect was on North Feederle Avenue and soon located Patterson in front of a Rogers Avenue home. The driver identified Patterson as the robber.
