“Glee” series finale (8 p.m., Fox): OK, so this sixth season has been one brutally hot mess. The show bids farewell with a two-hour curtain call that looks at how the original gang came to the glee club, and then flashes forward five years to see where life has taken them.

“2015 mtvU Woodie Awards” (9 p.m., MTV): The Bleachers’ Jack Antonoff hosts the “2015 mtvU Woodie Awards,” an annual gala celebrating the favorite music of college students. The event airs from the SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas.

Piano recital

YOUNGSTOWN

Dana School of Music faculty member Cicilia Yudha will give a piano recital at 3 p.m. Sunday in Bliss Recital Hall, inside Bliss Hall, on Youngstown State University’s campus. The program includes works by Bach, Casadesus and Dutilleux.

Concert band

CANFIELD

The Canfield Community Concert Band will present a concert at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Canfield High School Auditorium. The program will feature music for wind band representing classic and contemporary styles from around the world. The concert will benefit the food pantry of Operation Blessing. Donations of nonperishable food items as well as monetary contributions will be accepted at the door. For information, go to canfieldccband.org.

Travolta in film

COLUMBUS

A crew filming a new John Travolta movie has started work in Columbus. On Wednesday, a fictional governor played by actor Patrick St. Esprit was filmed on the west steps of the Ohio Statehouse as part of the movie called “I Am Wrath.” He was joined by more than 100 extras who stood for several hours in 45-degree weather for multiple takes. Travolta wasn’t in the scene.

Filming is expected to last into mid-April.

Travolta plays a man out for justice after a group of corrupt policemen are unable to catch his wife’s killer.
