Gifts from Mooney Alumni will make many improvements possible

Cardinal Mooney High School has received significant donations from three of its alumni that will go a long way to enhancing the quality Catholic education offered by Mooney.

In announcing the gifts, Mike Latessa, Vice President for Institutional Advancement, noted they were inspired by donations to the school made by Mooney Alumni Eddie DeBartolo (1964) and Denise DeBartolo York (1968) last year. These donations established an endowment fund that provides scholarships and tuition assistance to families who want their children to be able to take advantage of the quality Catholic education offered by Cardinal Mooney.

A new anonymous gift of $500,000 will be added to this endowment fund to enable even more assistance to be given. A significant donation from Mooney alumna Patricia Guidos (1959), plus an additional anonymous gift, will be used to help fund renovations to the school building.
