Youngstown South Christian Women’s Connection is hosting a “Springtime Shopping” luncheon and program beginning at 11:30 a.m. April 8 at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road, Canfield. The Art Cafe Pottery and Painting Studio will be featured, and music will be provided by Kathy Dyer. Friends of the Leetonia Community Public Library are having a reorganizational meeting at 6:15 p.m. April 9. New officers are needed as well as volunteers to help continue the work of the friends and fundraising to help with the summer reading program, keeping eBooks accessible to the public, paying for special events and more.

Canfield Republican Women’s Club will tour the Board of Elections for its April 1 meeting. Meet at the Mahoning County Republican Headquarters on state Route 224 to board a bus.
