Police found more than $1,100 cash and a small amount of suspected heroin and crack cocaine on a man after a traffic stop.

Reports said a car driven by Tyreese Perry, 20, was pulled over after 6 p.m. Wednesday at Hillman Street and West Hylda Avenue for driving on the wrong side of the road.

According to police, Perry was acting nervously and would not spread his feet to be searched. A smell of burnt marijuana was coming from his car, reports said.

Police searched the car and found suspected heroin in the console, and the cash was found in Perry’s pocket. Perry was charged with possession of heroin and taken to the Mahoning County jail.

While at the jail, corrections officers found a bag of suspected crack cocaine in his underwear, reports said. He faces additional charges of possession of crack cocaine and illegal conveyance of drugs into a detention facility.
