City police cite McDonald woman for drugs after a traffic stop

YOUNGSTOWN — A McDonald woman was cited for possession of drugs, possession of drug abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers found her in possession of three needles, a burned spoon and two Suboxone pills following a traffic stop at Glenwood and West LaClede avenues about 1:48 a.m. Thursday.

Reports said Sarah Capaldi, 25, of Owsley Road, was a passenger in a car that was pulled over for making an improper turn. The paraphernalia and pills were found after a police dog sniffed the area around the car, reports said.

Capaldi was issued citations and released at the scene. The driver of the car, Norman Macias, 41, no address listed, was also issued a citation for driving without a license, reports said.
