Canfield High School Wrestling takes second place overall
The Canfield High School Wrestling Team competed in the District Tournament on March 7, taking second place overall. The performance of five Canfield wrestlers has qualified them for a spot at the upcoming state wrestling tournament. The qualifiers include freshman Matthew Cardello (third in his weight class), sophomore Georgio Poullas (first in his weight class), junior C.J. Frost (second in his weight class), freshman David Crawford (second in his weight class) and junior Jacob Esarco (first in his weight class).

The weather is getting warmer and it’s now spring sports season. Neighbors wants to be there every step of the way. If you’re a spring sports coach or the parent of an athlete, we need you help. In order to get teams and players the recognition they deserve, we want to showcase them in our pages. We can only do that if you commit to sending us game reports and photos each week. If you send it, it will get in.
