Warrensville Heights man sentenced on a trafficking in marijuana charge

YOUNGSTOWN

A Warrensville Heights man was sentenced in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court today on a trafficking in marijuana charge.

Judge Maureen Sweeney gave Luis Sanchez, 33, a sentence of nine months in prison after Sanchez earlier this year pleaded guilty to the charge, a fourth degree felony.

Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol found two separate gallon sized bags of marijuana in his car after pulling him over near U.S. 62 on the East Side on March 28, 2014.

Sanchez said the marijuana was for his personal use.
