Dr. Regina Rees of Youngstown State University will present a book review on “The Traitor’s Wife” by Allison Pataki at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Boardman Library, 7680 Glenwood Ave.

Library to present the Snow Sisters

SALEM

Salem Public Library, 821 E. State St., will offer three morning sessions of “A Visit with the Snow Sisters!” at 10, 10:40 and 11:20 on March 28.

The event provides a chance to sing along with the Snow Queen and Snow Princess, get their autographs and have your picture taken.

Because of the high demand for this free event, registration is required to ensure your family a space.

2 YMCA locations will have open houses

YOUNGSTOWN

YMCA of Youngstown will open its doors at the Central YMCA and Davis Family YMCA Friday to celebrate spring with the community.

The Davis Family YMCA open house will run from 6 to 9 p.m. The Davis location will host swimming, face painting, story and craft time, a bounce house, obstacle course, scavenger hunt and group exercise.

The Central YMCA open house will be go on at two times, from noon to 2 p.m. and from 5 to 9 p.m. The Central open house will feature swimming, games, a movie and popcorn, board and table games and a variety of classes including Drums Alive, Insanity, Strong Fit, Yoga and Spinning.
