Chambers will honor trio at annual meeting

BOARDMAN — The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber's annual meeting is underway this morning.

Chamber President and CEO Tom Humphries gives an update on all of the recent efforts and accomplishments of the organization, as well as a 2015 outlook.

The Chamber will also present awards for 2015. Bo Pelini, head football coach of Youngstown State University, will receive the Spirit of the Valley award. Attorney Alan Wenger, of Harrington, Hoppe, and Mitchell Ltd., will receive the Spirit of the Chamber award.

State Rep. Sean J. O'Brien of Bazetta, D-63rd, will receive the Political Achievement Award.

"We appreciate the opportunity to recognize three individuals who have really made substantial differences in the [Mahoning] Valley," said Guy Coviello, Chamber vice president of government affairs.
