Noel Coward’s “Blithe Spirit,SDRq Pierce Opera House, 100 N. Mercer Ave., Sharpsville, Pa., auditions 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. The cast includes five women and three roles for men. Performance dates will be May 29, 30 and 31. Call Maria Petrella-Ackley with any questions at 724-263-5011.

“The Death and Life of Sneaky Fitch,” directed by Sam Luptak Jr., Victorian Players, Victorian Players Theatre, 702 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, auditions 7 p.m. March 27 and 28. “Sneaky Fitch” is a comedic farce set in the old West. The lead for this show, The Singer, is needed, and it will require a person who can play guitar or banjo, has a working knowledge of country-western music, and has a big personality; it is a great opportunity for a local country band or singer. The group is looking for a male or female of any age who fits the requirements. All other roles do not require singing. A range of actors, from older teenagers to those of any age, are being sought for nine male and three female roles, minimum. The roles are for newcomers and veterans alike. Performances will be May 22 through June 7, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2. Rehearsals will begin in mid-April.
