Warren police continue to investigate fatal crash; vigil at 7 p.m. at WGH

WARREN — Police are continuing to investigate Thursday afternoon's fatal car crash on West Market Street that killed one passenger.

A police report released today says Jodi Weaver, the driver of the 2002 Dodge Ram pickup truck, told police that an unknown white vehicle forced her to lose control of the truck just prior to the 5:30 p.m. crash into the Raider Bar.

Her 17-year-old daughter, Alyssa B. Wynn, died in the crash.

Weaver and her 10-year-old son, Jonathan Wynn, survived.

Police say they do not yet have any information to confirm Weaver's information about the other vehicle and don't yet know how fast her vehicle was traveling.

There is a vigil for Alyssa at 7 p.m. tonight at Warren G. Harding High School.
