Vision for downtown Youngstown unveiled

YOUNGSTOWN

The Youngstown Economic Action Group unveiled its downtown vision and implementation plan at the Youngstown Business Incubator in downtown this morning.

The 150-page plan outlines eight initiatives that focus to improve downtown including its landscape, infrastructure, parking and economic development. The goal is to have the area’s stakeholders participate in any capacity of the initiatives.

“We made it accessible and digestible as possible,” said Dominic C. Marchionda, city and university planning coordinator, of Youngstown State University.
