Sebring puts treasurer on paid leave pending an investigation

SEBRING — The Sebring school board has placed long-time Treasurer Pete Hill on paid administrative leave, pending an investigation of allegations of neglect of duty.

Superintendent Toni Viscounte said the board took the action Monday night. She declined to provide details of the neglect of duty allegations.

The board will conduct an investigation of the allegations and the district has consulted legal counsel, she said.

Hill has been the treasurer for 25 years.
