Marshals capture man wanted for bank robbery

YOUNGSTOWN

An East Avondale Avenue man wanted for the robbery of a Market Street bank Feb. 24 was captured by U.S. Marshals Monday in Georgia.

Capt. Brad Blackburn, chief of the city police department’s detective bureau, confirmed that 21-year-old Jayquawn Manigault is in custody but he did not have any other details.

Manigault was indicted by a grand jury earlier this month for the robbery of the Chase Bank branch. He is expected to be arraigned in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court once he is extradited from Georgia.
