Boardman man dragging tool box is arrested

A township man faces breaking and entering, receiving stolen property and resisting arrest charges after he was arrested in a township neighborhood early Tuesday. 

Township police responded to the area of 40 Crestline Place after a call about a man dragging a tool box down the street and into a yard, according to a police report. 

Multiple residents of the area reported items missing from garages and cars.

Stephen Zuercher, 26, of Market Street, was arrested on Market Street after police pursued him on foot. An officer used a stun gun to subdue Zuercher when he reportedly resisted arrest.

Zuercher was taken to the Mahoning County jail.
