Vacant house burns in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN

Investigators are looking into the cause of a blaze that destroyed a vacant 2670 Hunter St. home Sunday morning.

Crews called to the scene about 6:45 a.m. found the home in flames and they focused their operations on saving adjoining homes because the structure was well on its way to burning down.

Reports said a police officer on the scene told firefighters a neighbor had complained about the home being a constant source of drug activity.

Damage is listed at $9,600. There were no injuries.
