Man sentenced to prison for child porn

A 56-year-old city man already serving a 40-year prison term for child pornography charges relating to a 12-year-old central Ohio girl has been sentenced to 10 years for child-pornography charges in Trumbull County.

Lauren K. Thomas, formerly of Beechwood Street Northeast, pleaded guilty today to numerous child-pornography charges relating to offenses that occurred from December 2012 to May 2013.

This marks the fourth time Thomas has been convicted of sex offenses, including a 40-year prison sentence for offenses in Union County in Ohio in 2012.
