Man sentenced for attempted murder of sister

WARREN

Aaron S. Moffett, 31, of Griswold Street Northeast, was sentenced to six years in prison this morning for the attempted murder and felonious assault on his sister.

Moffett cut his 34-year-old sister in the back and leg and punched her in the head at 3:30 a.m. July 3 after she kicked him out of the apartment, prosecutors said.

Judge Peter Kontos of Trumbull County Common Pleas Court sentenced Moffett .
