Men’s Rally in the Valley is participating in a Dine to Make a Difference fundraiser March 25 at Bob Evans Restaurant, 2299 E. State St.

Diners must present a flyer to cashier.

The restaurant will donate 15 percent of the bill to the faith-based organization.

Homes for Kids plans fundraiser

Homes For Kids — Child and Family Solutions will host its 5th Annual “Cheers to the Children” Wine & Beer Tasting from 6 to 9 p.m. April 24 at Mahoning Country Club, 710 E. Liberty St.

The event will offer the sampling of more than 20 fine wines and hand-crafted brews from Luva Bella Winery, Mastropietro Winery, Greene Eagle Winery, Rust Belt Brewing Company and Superior Beverage Company.

Tapas-style food will be paired with wine and beer selections as patrons learn from experts how to taste wine and beer.

Featured will be entertainment from Trilogy Almost Acoustic, dessert provided by Sam’s Club, a silent auction and a live auction courtesy of Jeff Byce and Byce Auction.

Tickets cost $40 per person or $75 per couple and can be purchased online at www.hfk.org or by calling 330-544-8005, ext. 534. Tickets will be available at the door.

College plans family day and Grace Race

NEW WILMINGTON, PA.

New Life Baptist Church Ukraine Ministry will sponsor a Grace Race 5K and Family Fun Day on April 26 at Westminster College.

The event is designed to raise awareness and support for the church’s children’s home and village outreach in Zdvishivka, Ukraine, a Chernobyl relocation village.

Concessions will open at noon followed by a one-mile fun walk at 1:30 p.m., kids’ race and activities at 2:30 and 5K road race at 3.

The 5K entry fee is $25 a person with $100 family maximum. The fun walk entry fee is $10 a person, and kids race, $5.

New pirate ship

The Leetonia Park Board will dedicate the new pirate ship in Wick Park on April 25.

Visit Leetonia Community Public Library, 181 Walnut St., for a craft and story time at 1 p.m. and then head to the park for cake and a party.
