Boardman police arrest Campbell man for drugs, outstanding warrant


BOARDMAN — A Campbell man was arrested on multiple felony warrants after police found him outside of Chuck E. Cheese, 521 Boardman-Poland Road.

Township police responded to the location Saturday after they got a tip that James Tinsley, 34, was there.

Police approached Tinsley at gunpoint because his warrants were weapons-related, according to a police report.

He was arrested on Mahoning County warrants for weapons under disability, improper handling of a firearm and possession of cocaine, all felonies.

He also was charged with possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana after police found drugs on him and in his car.

He was taken to the Mahoning County jail.
