Michael W. Kenyhercz has received a doctor of philosophy degree in anthropology from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks.

A 2004 graduate of Canfield High School, he received his bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Ohio State University in 2008 and earned his master’s degree in anthropology from Mercyhurst College in 2010.

Kenyhercz has begun his postdoctoral work in research and forensic anthropology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Tenn. He is the son of Dr. Kenneth A. Kenyhercz of Tampa, Fla., and Norene Kenyhercz of Boardman.
