Longmeyers’ 60th anniversary is celebrated

YOUNGSTOWN

Claudsell and Yvonne Longmeyer of Youngstown celebrated 60 years of marriage on Feb. 19.

The former Yvonne Mullins and Mr. Longmeyer were united in marriage on that date in 1955 by the Rev. S.P. Phillips at his home.

The couple have three daughters, Claudette (Paul) Lyons of Boardman, and Debra (Ricky) Hargrave and Darlene Murphy, both of Atlanta.

The family includes six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The couple are members of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Longmeyer retired from Fireline Inc., and Mr. Longmeyer retired from Youngstown Sheet & Tube/LTV Steel.

A celebration of the anniversary is being planned by their daughters to take place in June in Washington, D.C.
