Dawsons, family celebrate 50th at Tara Inn

BROOKFIELD

Dwight and Patty Dawson of Brookfield marked their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 28 with a family celebration at Tara — A Country Inn in Clark, Pa.

The couple also renewed their wedding vows at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist in Canton. The Rev. George Murry, bishop of the Diocese of Youngstown, was the celebrant.

Mr. Dawson, known as “Moe,” and the former Patty Krulcik were married Nov. 28, 1964, at St. Therese Catholic Church in Piney Fork, Ohio.

The couple have two children, Douglas Dawson and Paula Yauger.

They also have three grandchildren.

Mr. Dawson retired from Sears Roebuck and Co., and Mrs. Dawson retired from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.

The couple are active members of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica in Youngstown.
