West Branch girls advance to state tournament

BARBERTON

The West Branch girls basketball team defeated Geneva, 50-30, on Saturday afternoon in a Division II regional final at Barberton High School.

The Warriors advance to the D-II state tournament in Columbus this week where they will face Toledo Rodgers in a semifinal at Jerome Schottenstein Center. The game is scheduled to tip at 3 p.m. on Friday.
