YOUNGSTOWN

Two women were arraigned in municipal court Wednesday, accused of following a woman last month to the nursing home where she works to get her to fight and then assaulting her inside.

Ryann Moore, 21, of Compton Lane and Timesha Nuby, also 21, of Tyrell Avenue were each arraigned before Judge Elizabeth Kobly on a single misdemeanor count of assault.

Both were arrested Tuesday after warrants were issued for them and were arraigned from the Mahoning County jail via video hookup.

Judge Kobly set their bond at $5,000.

Reports said a 21-year-old woman told police Feb. 9 that Nuby and Moore were arguing with her at an apartment complex on Tyrell Avenue, and both wanted to fight with her.

Reports said the woman left for work and the two followed her. Whenever the woman stopped at a stop sign or red light, the two would get out of the car they were in, run up to her car, and yell and scream at her to try to get her to fight, reports said.

Reports said when the woman arrived at the nursing home where she works in the 1200 block of Park Avenue, she hurried from her car to the door and used an access card to open the door and get in.

Reports said, however, that Moore and Nuby ran after her and managed to stop the door from closing, then they proceeded to punch the woman several times, reports said.

Reports said part of the assault was captured on video.
