Warren police investigating fatal accident

WARREN — Police are still investigating how a pickup truck rolled over about 5:30 p.m. Thursday at West Market Street near Penn Avenue Southwest, killing a 17-year-old front-seat passenger.

Report said the truck, driven by Jody Weaver of Warren, was driving west on West Market Street when it lost control and rolled over at least twice before striking a bar.

Weaver and her son, Jonathan Wynn, 10, who was in the back seat of the truck, were taken to ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital to be treated for their injuries, and Wynn was later transferred to Akron Childrens Hospital.

Alyssa Wynn, Weaver’s daughter and a front-seat passenger, was killed.

Reports said alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the accident.
