City police catch man after fight call, pursuit

YOUNGSTOWN — A man who ran from police is in custody and a gun was found after police responded to a fight call just before noon today on the North Side.

Officers responding to a fight with a gun on Guadalupe Avenue saw the man who was supposed to have the gun and he ran away.

Several cruisers converged and the man was caught in a home on Alameda Avenue.

A 9mm handgun was found in a yard on Crandall Avenue.
