Boardman stadium project gets another major donation

BOARDMAN — Jones Wealth Management Group of Merrill Lynch will donate $25,000 to help fund Boardman's new stadium that is scheduled to open in the fall of 2015, Boardman Schools announced today.

The company will be recognized as a scoreboard sponsor at the new stadium. “The new Boardman Stadium will be an updated, modern facility. The stadium will support Boardman’s athletics across all of Boardman sports and new traditions for the Spartan Marching band, for example the Spartan Invitational, the largest cross country meet in the state, can host its award ceremony there. The stadium will be a great asset to the community,” said Sidney Jones, a company representative, in a statement.
