Youngstown police have suspect in Wednesday night shooting

YOUNGSTOWN — Police have a suspect in the shooting of Roderick Wilson, 28, who was wounded about 7:30 p.m. Wednesdsay inside a home in the 700 block of Linwood Avenue.

Chief of Detectives Capt. Brad Blackburn said warrants will be issued later today for Joseph Williams Jr., 60, on charges of felonious assault.

Blackburn said the shooting followed a domestic argument.

Officers responding to the home found Wilson lying on his side against a couch. He is being treated at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
