Warren woman says someone shot at her car

WARREN — A 22-year-old Southern Boulevard woman reported the rear window of her car shattered, possibly from a gunshot, at 5:50 a.m. today as she drove south on Southern Boulevard.

She stopped the car and called police, who noticed “what appeared to be a bullet hole in the back of the driver’s seat with a broken wire sticking out, which she stated was not there prior to this incident,” police said.

The woman said she heard what sounded like a gunshot from outside of her vehicle at the time the window shattered.

The officer checked the interior of the seat but could not find the bullet.
