Police search for suspect in shooting

City police were searching for a suspect in the shooting of man on Linwood Avenue on Wednesday.

The man was shot at an address in a residential neighborhood at 7:30 p.m., they said. He was taken to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital in critical condition.

The victim’s name was not being released. He is in his 20s, police said. No other information was available from detectives, police said.
