Police say 17-year-old shot and killed in Cleveland robbery

CLEVELAND (AP) — City police say a teenager was shot and killed in his home in what investigators believe was a robbery.

Cleveland police say the 17-year-old boy was shot in his upper body about 2 p.m. Wednesday and was taken to the hospital, where he died.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner identified the boy today as Johnteze Tunkara.

Police say two men wearing dark clothing were seen leaving the home on Cleveland’s east side carrying a television.

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
