A Cleveland man who authorities say is a leader of Ohio’s fastest growing criminal gang has been sentenced to serve at least 99 years in prison.

A Cuyahoga County jury last month found Heartless Felons leader Julius Webster guilty of 11 of the 17 charges filed against him in connection with a slaying in Cleveland and a robbery in Canton.

On Tuesday after an hourlong hearing, a judge sentenced the 29-year-old Webster to 99 years to life in prison.

Webster also had been found guilty of a gang charge for his leadership role in the Heartless Felons, which for years has sought to control Cleveland streets and state prisons.
