Fla. man charged with soliciting prostitute on Youngstown's South Side

YOUNGSTOWN — A 66-year-old Davie, Fla., man was cited about 1:25 a.m. today for soliciting a prostitute.

Reports said officers on patrol spotted a car driven by Richard Gutierrez stopped in the middle of the intersection at Hillman near Willis avenues.

Gutierrez was spotted talking to a known prostitute, reports said, but she walked away when police showed up, reports said.

Gutierrez told officers he offered the woman a ride but did not know her name. He was cited for soliciting and impeding the flow of traffic.
