ODOT to inform Canfield businesses of upcoming road work

CANFIELD — Ohio Department of Transportation officials will be handing out brochures to local businesses at the U.S. 224 and state Route 11 interchange between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday as construction is scheduled to begin later in the month.

The brochures will inform businesses of the upcoming construction project and maintenance of traffic patterns on Route 224 over Route 11 and on Raccoon Road at Route 224.

The brochures also include a map of the project and contact information for businesses if they have questions or need additional information.

Later this month, ODOT will begin a $6.5 million project to replace and widen the Route 224 bridge over Route 11 and widen Raccoon Road. The project also includes the widening of the Route 11 southbound ramp to Route 224.
